Brian Butler received a Juris Doctor from University of Arkansas at Little Rock – William H. Bowen School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University.
After becoming licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Mr. Butler became a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As a Deputy Prosecutor, Mr. Butler gained significant experience in criminal litigation and general legal assistance to include family law. Mr. Butler was responsible for numerous criminal prosecutions in all areas of criminal law to include murder, sex crimes, assault, drug crimes to include possession and distribution, domestic violence, and hot checks.
After leaving the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Mr. Butler joined the law firm of Spears, Huffman & Butler in Benton, Arkansas, where he remains.
Practice Areas
Mr. Butler’s practice is centered around general civil litigation involving construction law, lien law, replevin, and other commercial disputes, real property law to include property line disputes, adverse possession, easements, and he also aids clients in the defense of products liability, auto liability, general negligence, and other litigated disputes.
Mr. Butler is very skilled in criminal & DUI defense. He has tried numerous cases in most criminal areas to include murder, sex crimes, assault, drug crimes to include manufacturing, possession, and distribution, domestic violence, credit card fraud, DUI/DWI, and hot checks.
Mr. Butler is able to assist clients in the area of Bankruptcy Law with creditor collections and representation.
Finally, Mr. Butler can assist clients with title insurance and title searches.
